Amsterdam Klezmer at Cite de la Musique Paris
The German, Dutch and French press is celebrating Amsterdam Klezmer Band’s (AKB) new release “Katla” with fantastic reviews, all the concerts are packed. AKB declared that Katla is “the best album in 15 years of our existence “.
This Wednesday AKB are invited by Joann Sfar* to play a very special evening at the Cité de la Musique in Paris. Joann Sfar is one of the curators of the exhibition “Brassens ou la liberté”, which is shown from the 15th of March till 21th of August. The concert on 16th March will feature by the popular singers JP Nataf, Thomas Fersen & Bertrand Belin, Amsterdam Klezmer Band and more musicians. They are celebrating a homage to the great “chansonnier” and libertine George Brassens.
