Dope D.O.D. consists of rap trio Dopey Rotten, Jay Reaper and Skits Vicious, DJ Dr. Diggles and producer Peter Songolo. Ghosttown (Groningen) is where they came together. With their English and African roots, futuristic beats, rugged rap styles and revolutionary video’s, they are the hardcore English hip hop from the Netherlands. 2011 has been a great year for the crew. After the succesfull release of the video “What Happened” (Which generated 4.5 million views in a few months) they hit the world with a 4 track E.P. titled: “The evil EP”, which was followed up by their debut album: “Branded”. Both gained positive reception and further solidified their position as one of the next big things in hip hop’s underground scene. During this period they started doing many shows abroad, to the delight of fans from all over the world, including: A tour through Russia, a tour with Korn through the states, shows in Iceland, Poland, Hungary, France, Greece, and a tour with Limp Bizkit through Europe. With a growing fanbase, new video’s on the way, and a busy show schedule for 2012 (including: A tour through Europe, SXSW, and Eurosonic) it’s safe to say Dope D.O.D. are steadily on their way to the top.
