De karakteristieke Engelsman Ray Cokes, bekend geworden als presentator van MTV’s Most Wanted, heeft Dope D.O.D. uitgenodigd om samen met hem de opening van Noorderslag te verzorgen. Tijdens zijn speciale show “Ray’s Noorderslag Revue” zal de band een aantal songs laten horen. Daarnaast zal Ray een kort interview houden om de band aan het aanwezige publiek te presenteren. Ray was erg onder de indruk van Dope D.O.D. en hij is daarom erg blij dat de groep heeft toegezegd om bij deze speciale gelegenheid acte de présence te geven.

Release party!

On January 19, the Amsterdam Klezmer Band will present their new live-cd “Mokum” to the world in Paradiso, Amsterdam. This will be a very special occasion because they will also celebrate our 1000th concert!

2012 will be their 15th anniversary year, and the album “Mokum” is their present to their fans (and theirselves): 16  favorites from their live shows, recorded live (of course), giving you the real atmosphere of an AKB concert!

Mokum will be available in the Amsterdam Klezmer Band webshop for pre-order from january 1, 2012. Expected delivery: january 19.
